Need someone to politely call you out when you don’t get sh*t done?

You get matched with a group of members with similar needs, PLUS an all-star “Shelper” (your real-human accountability coach, who will drive the group forward).

Your Shelper will nudge you, your fellow group members will cheer you on and hold you accountable for what you want to get done. Whatever it is you’re trying to do, chances are there’s a few people trying to do the same.

Short term, long term? Get it done.

Whatever the flavor of your goal / aspiration / habit, however big or small, you can get the support you need and the accountability to make progress on it. Little by little.

How it Works

  • 1. Sign Up for a Group, Or Suggest One

    Choose from our starting topics or suggest a topic. We’ll work hard to match you with the perfect fellow group members. No payment or credit card need until your group kicks off.

  • 2. Share share share

    The more sign ups we get, the sooner we can get you into a group. Pro tip: share this on any Facebook Groups, Forums, Slack channels, Discords you’re in that have similar topics.

  • 3. We let you know when your group is good to go

    You’ll have a 1:1 onboarding text session with your Group Shelper, then they’ll add you to the Group chat to make beautiful accountability happen.

Who are the “Shelpers?”

You know that one friend you have? That really good listener who always remembers the little details? They have a way of making you feel special and cared for?

That’s who we’ve brought on as Shelpers.

Because Shelpers chat with you from their phone, we have people from business backgrounds, teaching, hair styling, stay-at-home parents, the list goes on.

The first Shelpers were actually our own founders ♥️ Because they are those friends too.

How much will it cost?

How many people will be in each group?

3-5 people.

Is this all over Text Message?

Nobody can EVER see your phone number. Our Shelpful technology works over text message (all texts will come from dedicated Group phone number). Our members LOVE that Shelpful operates on text message. It makes it hard to ignore your goals when it’s not just another app notification. The Shelper for your group will set some boundaries on times-of-day folks can message, etc.

What if I want to have a dedicated Shelper and participate in a group.

You can definitely do this! And it’s a great option for someone who thrives on a bit of peer pressure for some areas of life, but also wants support / help / reminder / to-do management as well.

What if I want to participate anonymously?

Nobody can EVER see your phone number (that’s the universal setting, so you’ll never have to worry about that.) You can also choose the name that appears in the group chat, so you can go by a nickname, initials, etc.

Is there a free trial for Shelpful Groups (beta)

We can’t effectively have each group member do a free trial of the group. BUT you are welcome to sign up for our regular free trial here, and if you like the vibe of Shelpful, you can choose to pursue a group instead of a solo-Shelpful membership.
