Shelpful App FAQs

Your Questions, Answered.

How do I add something to my list?

Add tasks right from your AI chat. Just type what you need, like “remind me to take vitamins.”

It will automatically appear in your List tab.

You can also tap NEW in the List tab to add items manually.

How do I edit items on my list?

Right now, your AI buddy can’t edit tasks directly from chat (coming soon).

In the meantime, you can manage everything from your List tab:

→ Tap a task to edit the text or change recurrence (daily, weekly, etc.)

→ Tap the blue date pill to update the time or day

→ Drag and drop tasks to reorder them

How do I see my completed tasks?

In your List tab, scroll to the bottom and tap All completed tasks.

This will show everything you’ve finished.

We’re working on more tools here soon, including an “undo” option.

How do I pause or stop reminders for a bit?

You can pause reminders anytime.

Go to your You 😊 tab → Notifications / Pause and toggle Pause on or off.

When you’re ready, just turn them back on.

How can I make sure I get notifications from Shelpful?

Go to your You 😊 tab → Notifications / Pause for guidance.

From there, you can check that notifications are enabled in your phone’s settings and that Shelpful has the correct permissions.

How do I customize my AI buddy?

In your You 😊 tab → AI Buddy Preferences, you can personalize your AI’s style and tone.

Make it more gentle, funny, or direct. Use emojis or keep it simple. You can even have it talk like a pirate.

You can also set preferences like:

“If I say I’m tired, suggest a snack or fresh air.”

This section includes examples if you want inspiration.

What happens if I mark something complete by accident?

Completed items move to your Recently completed section.

Scroll down to find them there.

For now, you can ask your AI buddy to re-add the task or manually add it again in your List tab.

We’re working on an “undo” feature. We know this one matters.

Can I sort or organize my list?

For now, you can manually reorder tasks.

Just long-press a task and drag it where you want it.

More advanced features like sorting, grouping, and multiple lists are coming soon.
